Scholarships

The Atlanta Southern Crescent Alumnae Panhellenic Association (ASCAPA) is pleased to announce

our annual scholarship opportunities for high school seniors and collegiate NPC sorority members. 

The Southern Crescent area is defined as the counties of

Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, Henry, Spalding

and the cities of South Fulton County.

SINCE 2003, ASCAPA HAS AWARDED 33 SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $26,500!​

Our annual high school $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a female high school senior who is a resident of the Southern Crescent area and who will attend an accredited four-year university in the fall. Service academy-bound students are not eligible. The Southern Crescent area is defined as the counties of Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, Henry, Spalding and the cities of South Fulton County.  Applicants must have at least a 3.5 GPA and consistent, demonstrated involvement and leadership in their school and community. The ASCAPA High School Scholarship will be presented at the recipient's Senior Honors/Awards Night whenever possible. CLICK THE GREEN BOX ABOVE TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION. Application Deadline is April 1st, 2026.

We're pleased to introduce the Crown and Crescent Collegiate Sorority Scholarship. Underwritten by two ASCAPA members - Denise Wilhem (Zeta Tau Alpha UGA - the crown is ZTA's symbol) and Cele Eifert (Gamma Phi Beta Southern Cal - the crescent is GPhiB's symbol), this is a $1000 scholarship to be awarded to a National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sorority member in good standing who is a resident of the Southern Crescent area and who is enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited four-year university. The Southern Crescent area is defined as the counties of Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, Henry, Spalding and the cities of South Fulton County.  Applicant must have a minimum 3.3 GPA and consistent, demonstrated involvement and leadership in their sorority, college, and community. Applicant should be a Rising Sophomore, Rising Junior, or Rising Senior. Service academy students are not eligible.

Akshara is going to Georgia Tech and will be majoring Biology. Her career goal is to become a Medical Doctor (MD).

Akshara is shown accepting the scholarship award on May 12, 2025 from ASCAPA Scholarship Chair Kelly DuBreuil.

Elisabeth is a rising senior at Georgia Tech, majoring in Business Administration, concentrating in Operations & Supply Chain Management. Her career goal is to work at a Fortune 500 company in Atlanta, applying her skills in operations and marketing to drive efficiency and innovation in business processes. She is a 2022 honor graduate of Trinity Christian School. Elisabeth is shown accepting the scholarship award on May 20, 2025 from Scholarship Sponsor & ASCAPA VP Janet Bell Maxwell (on left) and ASCAPA President Kay Norton (on right).
